Meam 201 – Sterling Engine

Meam 201 is a course centered around learning how to use the equipment in a traditional machine shop through the process of creating and designing a Sterling Engine. My design resembled a clock tower. The block to the left is the first block I ever squared up.  Below are several intimate aspects of the process. My engine reached  2270 rpm,  an unofficial record, which can be seen in the video.
