FNAR 222 – Winds of Change

DSC_9309Winds of Change was a hypothetical mural arts project for the city of Philadelphia. Each of the above wind turbines was paired with a theme of change in the city and was decorated to match. The concept of this project would be to persuade the residents of Philadelphia to consider changing to alternate sources of Energy (i.e. wind). This would then be paired with a initiative in schools were students would help paint the actual turbine while also learning the science and engineering behind wind turbines. The above models were 3d printed and hand painted to show five possible turbines that could be part of the project.
